Do I have to be photogenic or good at posing?
Absolutely not……and honestly, that's not what I'm here for. I'm a documentary-style photographer, with editorial flare, which means I'm capturing you as you actually are: laughing too hard, fixing each other's hair, crying during vows. The couples who look best in my work are the ones who forget I'm there. I'll give you gentle direction when we need it, but my job is to find the real moments, not manufacture them. My special talent is finding your best attributes.

Do you travel for destination weddings?

Absolutely and I'm always ready to pack my bags. Monphotography has photographed weddings in Italy, Germany, Austria, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Florida, California, New York, Massachusetts, Chicago... and the list is still growing. Coastal ceremonies with crashing waves, big city rooftops, European cobblestone streets — yes to all of it.
